About the Role
Responsibilities
- Understanding of servers, Active Directory, and other related technologies to maintain and repair systems in a primarily VMware-based technology infrastructure.
- Collaborating with database administrators, network administrators, storage technicians, and others to improve and remediate errors and outages.
- Utilizing a ticketing system to seek out new tasks without constant supervision or direct ticket assignment.
- Communicating effectively using Office 365-based email, Teams, and phone calls.
Requirements
- 2+ years of demonstrated experience in Windows Systems Administration (including Windows Active Directory, IIS, .Net environments)
- 2+ years of experience working in a VMware vSphere hypervisor environment
- 2+ years of experience in operational support and problem resolution for Windows-based systems.
- Understand enterprise computing technologies such as enterprise storage, VDI, proxy, antivirus, and other commonly deployed systems in enterprise business environments.
- 1+ year of experience with enterprise ticketing system used for work assignment and tracking
- Able to effectively communicate with peers and others in non-technical roles.
- Able to smoothly integrate into a team of peers and collaborate.
- Able to operate on long-term tasks without constant supervision and remain calm and methodical during periods of elevated stress
- Provide support on rotational on-call basis, including occasional night/weekend

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $57,750 - $175,000.
